Venice Beach

Headed off to Venice Beach on Friday to kick off a great weekend. My friend Sivan and I thought it would be fun to ride beach cruisers and parade around Venice with our cameras. (Of course, the camera comes everywhere nowadays). It was so much fun to ride bikes along the shore. It was the most fun I'd had in a while actually, and relaxing at the same time. You really never forget how to ride! After bike riding, we sat on the beach and drank some strawberry banana contraption smoothies while soaking up the beautiful California sun. Who else is as excited for summer as I am? I only have about a month left until I kiss high school goodbye, and welcome the rest of my life with open arms. But first stop...prom. Only the biggest hassle of my life. I may rip my hair out before I can even get it done! I ordered my dress off line, I should be getting it soon. Of course there will be tons of pictures! Don't forget to follow my instagram for tons of prom updates. @Carlyybethh !
Love you guys!

Santa Barbara Casual

Went up to Santa Barbara yesterday to visit my friend Jessica, who is a student at UCSB. Probably the most gorgeous college campus I've ever seen. It's really a hard knock life for her. If I went to UCSB, I'd never be in class. Too many beautiful locations to take pictures. There's a lagoon in the middle of campus. I mean, come on! We took these pictures up at what's called "Campus Pointe". Amazing views of the ocean. It was a great afternoon. My friend Natalya took the trip with me. We blasted our favorite tunes all the way along the glorious drive for an hour and a half. Although extremely entertaining, It was hard to control Nat's dancing...and she was driving my car. Enough said. It was a long trip up from LA, so I was dressed pretty comfy. Lazy denim is always my favorite. The night ended nicelywith dinner in Isla Vista. On the drive home I was dismissed to sit in the back seat of my own car. At least I got the privilege of being DJ.
Happy weekend.

Closet Meltdown

This outfit was actually from Easter, I know I'm totally late. Love love love this little lace number from 2020ave.com! It sat in my closet for a while, and I happened to find it during a closet/wardrobe melt-down. It's always the best when you find things you forgot you had. It's like going shopping all over again! Also these are officially my new favorite shoes, from 14th and Union. I've gotten endless compliments on them. The little cap/hat made the look seem much more Easter appropriate. More shoots to come, as I leave for an adventurous Santa Barbara trip tomorrow! Of course I'm bringing my camera. & Nope, I'm not going to Coachella...but I'll be watching it all happen this weekend through social media. Can't wait to see all the cute hipster outfits all over blogger next week. And to all you instagrammers out there, thanks for 1,000 followers...means so much :)

Little Tokyo

Little Tokyo has to be one of my favorite places downtown, besides FIDM of course! There are so many amazing cafes and tons of shabu shabu restaurants (my new favorite). I have been enjoying my spring break away from school, but I'll be going back this friday. Break always seems way too short , but I know I'll be done with the Bachelor's program before I know it and I'll be missing school!

XOXO,
Nicole

PS: Don't forget to check out the new LOOKBOOK.nu series that I got to intern on! It was one of the best experiences of my life! It's so unreal to see it come to life!

Arts District

Just being a brat on set.

DTLA has become a second home for Nicole and I. Between internships and school, DTLA is the hometown of fashion in Los Angeles! With that being said, I myself had never been to the Arts District!  All the buildings have the coolest artwork and graffiti. Hope you like.
