Just A Jacket

Random obsession with coats this year. I definitely live in the wrong place for this obsession. Zara has been so wonderful in creating beautiful pieces for me to oogle at this season. This particular jacket Nicole found at FOREVER 21. I know, absurd. Every now and again there are good finds to be found there. Just gotta dig!

Helpin Out

Hi there everyone! Recently, I've been working with Lily Adel, assisting her with her store Elle A. In Woodland Hills! Lily is friends with America's Next Top model star Don Benjamin. Lily and Don have been doing quite a bit of cross promotion recently! Ryan and I both have t-shirts representing their buisniess so we decided to have some fun and do a rooftop photo shoot and show off our tee's! These are some of our favorites from the shoot.

Bee and Oh (Happy Halloween!)

Yay for the holiday season approaching! Thought it'd be appropriate to wear an all black outfit to a pumpkin patch. Today Nicole and I went to the pumpkin patch, rode the little tractor ride, and made caramel apples. They were SCRUMPTIOUS.

My Favorite Spot

Actually, I'm really loving everything about this little shoot. Yesterday was so much fun shooting with two friends (Skylar and Ryan) in the Arts District! I've made blogging such a big part of my life, and want to thank every single reader/ instagram follower/ picture lover/ inspirer that has helped me get to this place! We found this little alley way with a cute little set up of a bench and table & I knew my outfit would be perfect to shoot there! I just got these green pants from H&M and I'm in love. I paired it with neutral darks to kick off the fall season. I love this color combo. This type of round hat will be a staple accessory this season, as it looks incredible with every outfit. (This means you'll see it quite often on the blog :)) I'm so stoked that we can actually say its fall now, and the holidays are right around the corner! I've got big plans to finish this year out with a bang! What about you guys? Who's ready for a great fall!?

Yesterday's Light

Yesterday was the official first day of fall! Hooray! Something about the light yesterday just felt like fall time. I'm not sure why, but around the turn of every season something hints at me that it's finally arrived. Different smells, lighting, air...senses! I spent yesterday shooting in LA with a new photographer friend! Hanging out with new people is always so refreshing. Anyways- this look is more of a dressy Sunday's Best type of look without going to church! It was really easy to throw together- Black and White when all else fails! White sweater, b&w skirt, black necklace and booties. Done!

Hey there! Been a while since I've posted a new outfit. Well, here ya go! We're trying to transition into fall here in sunny Los Angeles..but there's one problem. It's too god dang sunny!! It's been 100 degrees here. Don't the weather gods know it's September and bloggers need to dress for fall? Goodness. I see all the cute posts from other bloggers on the east coast in their winter attire, and i'm jealous! I'm so ready to layer. This seasons colors are as follows: Mustard, Maroon, Olive, Navy and Black. As soon as the weather calms down a lil bit, i'll be getting on those fall looks! For now, I'm craving some parisian style. Therefore, I threw together this little "mens wear" parisian style outfit. Little sweater and slacks with glittery Steve Madden oxfords. Just somethin' a little different for ya guys!

Beach Daze Photo Diary

Unfortunately, we're kissing summer goodbye. But I'm so stoked for fall.  This is my beach day photo diary! I've been so busy with school lately, I'm sorry for the lack of posting. Not exactly an outfit post. Just sharing a fun day I had at the beach with friends! That's Jessica and Nate. We took a little (much needed) trip to Malibu today. In the last two sections of pictures you'll see before and after shots. Jessica being a weirdo about waves (terribly frightened). She ended up having fun, while making sure Nate did NOT let go of her. At one point it became a three person chain, held down by nate. It was quite interesting, yet effective! By the end of the day we were delighted to see the Pepperdine University volley ball team do a little workout/initiation at the beach! We died laughing. They had to do workouts and relay races in the ocean. No, really. Encore, Encore!

Overall a great friday, now back to studying and finishing my final projects. Have a great weekend all!
